They removed CD/DVD drives from devices.
They made physical media harder to buy and use.
They removed expandable storage from phones.
They pushed us into streaming subscriptions.
They made always-online normal.
They made unlimited internet necessary.
Then slowly raised the price of everything.
Ownership quietly became renting.

@Parodyjeffx Americans elected real life Homelander, with even less charisma, strength, empathy and an even faster mental degradation.
You better impeach him before it's gonna take decades to recover or just never.

@H4H1776 @HQNewsNow 💯You can add 15% to a lot of these numbers today and it's not over, MAGA pea for brains will see this and still say "he's making us greater, small losses now for future gains" HE'S STEALING YOUR WHOLE DAMN FUTURE.

@Nate_Common @hippyygoat We have thousands of videos showing just that, just stop, we've all noticed a while ago, all zionists and their allies do is lie out of their asses.

@hippyygoat Pale'wood. There is no video of the father and son being hit, just videos of unknown targets.

Israel has blown up 10,000s of homes in south Lebanon, erasing dozens of villages. It has ethnically cleansed some 14% of Lebanese territory. It has destroyed bridges, cutting civilians off from help.
For how much longer are media and human rights groups going to suggest these "could be" war crimes?
Such terminology makes them utterly complicit in Israel's atrocities.

@KleinInfoklein @TheAutoHub Your tax dollars are funding weapons of mass destruction for Israel as they're actively targeting civilians every single day while not a single cent went into this car yet THIS is what gets you infuriated ?
Is your dumb ass thinking ukrainians are dirt poor ?
English

España no mira hacia otro lado.

>"US has better economic output than Europe."
- Europe has a better welfare system.
- Europe has better public education.
- Europe has better public transport.
- Europe has a better life expectancy.
- Europe has a better and far cheaper healthcare.
- Europe has a better standard of living than the US in almost every measurable category.
What happens when Americans find out how poor their standard of living is compared to Europe's?
The Wall Street Journal@WSJ
From @WSJopinion: What happens when Europeans find out how poor they are? The Continent trails far behind U.S. economic output. Politics is bound to catch up sooner or later, writes Joseph Sternberg. on.wsj.com/4n5v2Wq

Moi je pense que Jordan Bardella est une expérience sociale afin de voir si on est capables, nous aussi, d’élire le plus stupide du groupe.

France had an anti-piracy system called HADOPI to stop people from illegally downloading movies and music, but on April 30, 2026, France’s highest court ruled that the main part of this system is illegal.
It broke European rules on privacy and human rights.
The system sent warnings to internet users suspected of sharing files, and the court said it did not protect people’s private information well enough.
The new agency, called Arcom, can still block big pirate websites, but the warnings and fines for ordinary people are mostly finished.
This is a big win for groups that defend digital rights after 17 years of work.

@tony_sums @vintagemapstore Sounds like a plan, Egypt is among the strongest but once you've conquered them and the rest of Africa, you're pretty much unbeatable, same for Brittania. Don't forget to build libraries to speed up research, especially in Alexandria 😉

@HamouTarik @vintagemapstore My main objective is to get the Asia Minor settlements and Egypt first for all the gold to fund my war.. after I get Egypt I would expand to Africa, Britannia, and Germania

@20YearsAgoLive I'm actually curious to try the motion controls on the upcoming Nintendo Oui

Nintendo announces controversial new name for upcoming next-generation games console: the "Wii" (pronounced "we").
The new name for the machine, until now code-named "Revolution", was chosen to show "that the new console is for everyone" according to Nintendo.
"Wii can easily be remembered by people around the world, no matter what language they speak. No confusion. No need to abbreviate. Just Wii,"
But some die-hard fans online have been filling discussion boards with a long list of puerile jokes and tongue-in-cheek suggestions for advertising slogans, based on the name.
The Wii's one-handed remote control contains motion sensors allowing players to control the action onscreen by pointing it at their television and waving it around. This allows players to control swords, baseball bats, or tennis rackets within games.
When Wii finally hits the market this Autumn, it will be one of three new gaming consoles promising cutting-edge processing and graphics: Microsoft's Xbox 360, and Sony's upcoming PlayStation 3.

@tony_sums @vintagemapstore It's a rather unique expansion but it's also good to have a foothold in asia for its resources and flexibility a bit early. Some colonies in the west will help you consolidate the imperium, good job so far if it's one of your first campaigns, lead on !

@thinkingwest Age Of Empires, Total War, Prince Of Persia trilogy (PS2), Assassin's Creed franchise, incredible memories that got me quickly hooked into history books early on out of curiosity and passion.
Some 2010s games were very good too.
English

Late 1990s/early 2000s games were steeped in history, and not just on a surface level. Total War, the original CODs, and Age of Empires had 10 year olds learning about medieval Europe, WW1, and classical antiquity.
It’s no coincidence the generation raised on those games still thinks about the Roman Empire everyday, and daydreams of a more traditional society. Looking back, they were magnificent teaching tools.
