@McClureShawn Fossils don't fit in here. The fossil record show species suddenly (in geologic terms) appearing and disappearing, and also remaining unchanged for long periods. This goes against evolutionary expectations of slow morphing of species from one to another over time.

The strongest case against creationism isn't that science has answered every question. It's that evolution unifies genetics, fossils, anatomy, ecology and biogeography while creationism supplies no testable mechanisms. Creationism strawmans science, science explains the evidence.

Imagine believing the universe came into existence out of nothing by nothing with no cause or purpose giving us a habitable planet. The universe fine-tuning itself for life to be even be possible. Magically having food that humans can eat and survive, an atmosphere that humans can survive in.

This argument only works if you deliberately confuse sexual orientation with sexual activity. You know… what dumb people do?
A 12-year-old boy having a crush on a girl doesn’t mean he’s participating in “adult heterosexual sex,” and nobody asks who “groomed” him into being straight.
But let that same boy have a crush on another boy and suddenly they pretend that merely recognizing his orientation is inherently sexual and must have been implanted by an adult.
That’s the trick: they sexualize gay identity in a way you don’t sexualize straight identity, then accuse everyone else of sexualizing children.
Gay kids can exist for exactly the same reason straight kids can exist: orientation and sexual activity are not synonyms.
This “argument” is an equivocation wrapped in a straw man and finished with a baseless grooming accusation. Impressive efficiency.
