I am sorry it was a struggle for you to follow the original point made. In sum, a foreign opposition party leader proposes to meet with the President of the United States. Having working in the White House, I assess that proposition offers no value-add to US national interests under current circumstances. You decided to appeal to race, suggesting only ethically Chinese opinions count. Then peacefully enjoy life seeking only ethnically Chinese meetings. FWIW, it is cool that your family receives cards from Taiwan presidents. I lived in Taiwan and returned to visit often for coming up on 40 years. Have been blessed to know and visit with every elected president of Taiwan. But my post was not a credential check. Just noting the request to meet POTUS was ill-advised, based on experience.

I’m proud to say that I was in Taiwan, meeting with their lawmakers, just a couple of weeks ago. My second visit in recent years. And I will go again.
