Avoid @GetYourGuide. Their system automatically puts the account holder's name on lounge vouchers. Support admitted this is how it works, yet they refuse to refund even though the lounge rejected the ticket. Paying for a service their own tech breaks is a total scam. #Scam #fail

@GetYourGuide Hi.
I had a flight day trip from Sharm to Cairo cancelled 10 hours before take off on Friday 24th. I have live chat with yourselves stating my money will be refunded however when I put my booking ref and pin into your website it states it can't track that refund.
2 questions.
1) How can you cancel the flights of a family of 4 with hours notice, given they've already flown to Egypt for this specific purpose. How and why did this happen? Your entire support consisted of "ah well"
2) Why isn't my money refunded and why can't I track it on your website?
3) Why didn't nobody from yourselves or your local partner Nice Tours answer the phone? WhatsApp messages only to a family stranded in Egypt? Is this how your company usually behaves? Nevermind justy money back, shouldn't I be entitled to further compensation given this situation?
I hope this is resolved asap. We are back in the UK now and I'm going to get to the bottom of this, we are lucky we could make alternative arrangements (at great cost) another family may not be so lucky in future.
A warning to anyone reading this, do not use this company, they literally leave you in the middle of the desert having took your money and send you text messages about it.

Really disappointed with @GetYourGuide. Trying to book a once-in-a-lifetime excursion which family gifted vouchers towards but I am unable to use more than one, can’t combine them (despite being told I could), and can’t book separately because it requires min. 2 people. Pointless

J’ai acheté 4 places Disney au prix de 556€, je me pointe la bas je scan mes billets est une hôtesse me dis
« désolé monsieur par faute d’indisponibilité vous ne pouvez pas rentré dans le parc. »
Donc je lui explique et que je veux rentrer, elle me fais comprendre que c’est pas possible et que je dois contacter getyourguide pour un remboursement, maintenant getyourguide me disent que je ne serai pas remboursé car mes billets on étaie scan.
Je suis sencer passé à côté de 550€ ?

Most foreigners working in Japan have this visa: 技術・人文知識・国際業務
(Engineer / Specialist in Humanities / International Services)
It’s a mouthful. Everyone just calls it the “work visa.”
Who qualifies:
Jobs like:
•Software engineer
•Translator
•Marketing
•Designer
•Business analyst
•Teacher (not English conversation)
•Researcher
etc…
Requirements:
Either:
•Bachelor’s degree (any field, but should relate to job)
•OR 10+ years proven work experience in that field
And a Japanese company willing to sponsor you.
You can work in your specific job field.
Can’t just switch to any random job - it must match your visa category.
Marketing visa can’t suddenly work as a chef.
Duration is usually 1-3 years.
Renewals are 1, 3, or 5 years (depends on the situation)
After 10 years (or less if highly skilled) you can apply for permanent residency.
The sponsorship requirement and you need a company to sponsor you.
This visa is the standard path for foreign professionals in Japan.
If you have a degree and a job offer, you’ll probably get it.
It’s renewable, leads to PR eventually, and lets you live normally.
Most common visa for long-term foreign workers.
