@ColtsMusee we’ll finish awful and still won’t have a first round draft pick.

@ZachHicks2 with that 47% you failed to mention that the Colts were the third highest drop passes in the league

Richardson’s age 21 season was, albeit short lived, pretty promising. The issue is his age 22 season (2024) He completed 47% of his passes, led the offense to 19 ppg in his starts, and suffered 3 separate injuries and was benched for performance/work ethic. That’s the issue here
Gregg Rosenthal@greggrosenthal

the Colts are funny: they *might* consider allowing Anthony Richardson to compete with Riley Leonard for QB2. we'll see! (the Colts went 8-7 in Richardson starts in his age 21-22 season after taking him 4th overall)

@KBowen1070 @Colts If we don’t expect to keep him then we shouldn’t even give him the starter reps while Daniel is healing. Riley Showed more promise against a significantly harder team than AR ever did anyways

@LockedOnColts A steal in round 7? If he got chose in round 7 I wouldn’t call him a steal.

The 2 years are fine, the $88M up to $100M and the $50M in year 1 is fucking disgusting!!!

@AndrewBrandt At the time we were 7-1, best team in football. Everyone loved it at the time but looking back on how it all ended now people saying it was bad. can’t have it both ways.

Do I think Parsons deserved giving up two firsts? Yes. Crosby? Probably. Gardner? No.

Transition tag on Jones is Ballard playing with extreme fire. One offer to Jones that you can't match and you risk losing him and Pierce and having nothing and being a bottom 3 team in NFL next year.

@BamKamFan yeah… playing in game that didn’t matter to them and taking chances they normally wouldn’t take. You think they’d let him air it out in normal game?

Let’s not get it twisted, dude reminded us all he can play ball at a high level. That and he’ll take every snap until he’s forcibly removed from the game. Commendable stuff, but banking on him being first 8 weeks DJ post-Achilles and not re-injuring ever is absurd optimism.

Frankly, I’m already exhausted by the #Colts pre-market negotiations regarding Daniel Jones and Alec Pierce. The quest for quarterback stability has resulted in putting all of their eggs in a basket that is not only injury-prone, but is coming off an Achilles tear.

Both sides share plenty of blame. Publicly and privately, Colts preached patience — then ignored that gave AR the keys before he was ready. He didn't hold up his end, either: when vet teammates have to ask face of franchise QB to show up earlier/work harder, there is a problem.
James Boyd@RomeovilleKid

Why didn’t Anthony Richardson Sr. pan out in Indianapolis? The short answer is that the #Colts grossly miscalculated his NFL readiness after he started just 13 games at Florida. The longer answer is … well, more complicated. nytimes.com/athletic/70745…

@Reece_17 @lottaties @zkeefer @StampedeBlue he couldn’t hit the layups because his receivers had the third highest rate of drop passes in the league. When you hit the guys consistently in the numbers and they don’t catch the ball, the problem isn’t yours.

@lottaties @zkeefer @StampedeBlue AR’s strength as a QB is his deep ball. He couldn’t hit the layups. I take your point about RPO calls but he couldn’t stay healthy. Coaching staff was probably calling plays designed to keep him on the field and healthy.

@NaomiFeechi if you look at how the secene was edited then the Walker never truly looks at Sam because he’s not in eye sight. Sam is never seen…. that’s how he survived.

🔥Why the White Walker Didn't Kill Samwell 🔥 Tarly | Game of Thrones In this chilling moment from Game of Thrones, Samwell Tarly comes face-to-face with a White Walker... but something unbelievable happens. Instead of killing him instantly-as they do with anyone in their path-the Walker simply looks at Sam and marches forward with the army of the dead. So why was Sam spared? Many fans believe the White Walker sensed no threat. Sam was terrified, hiding, and holding no dragonglass weapon at that moment. White Walkers are ancient beings, driven by purpose-not cruelty. They don't kill for sport. They only destroy what stands against their mission. Others say destiny protected Sam. He would later discover crucial truths about Jon Snow's heritage and help defeat the dead. Maybe the magic of the world wasn't done with him yet.

@sdthomson23 @BenReidy_ because that’s the way the state has set it up. That money used to build those things can’t be used on teachers or other budgets.
