Live animal transport is cruel‼️. Calves are a by-product of the dairy industry and are therefore often taken from their mothers shortly after birth. They are then loaded onto metal trucks, where temperatures can either become extremely hot or cold, and the animals are kept in cramped conditions🚚. At their destination, they are fattened on poor-quality feed, only in most cases to be transported again 🚢 🔜. This time, they are shipped to North Africa or the Middle East on overcrowded vessels, where many of these young animals die as diseases spread rapidly due to the lack of space and unhygienic conditions, including forcing them to stand in their own manure. Many times, the dead are simply thrown overboard 💔 . Those who survive still face a cruel death at their destination. We are calling on Council of the European Union and the European Parliament to end this horrific trade.

He stood there for a second staring at the empty hallway before slowly walking back to his bed with his tail tucked low. Some shelter dogs stop barking when their heart breaks a little. I have a soft spot for Beagles. Grew up with them. They are gentle souls who can’t speak for themselves, so we must. The cruelty alleged at Ridgland Farms is unacceptable. We have better, humane science. I’m fighting to end animal testing and defund abuse of Dogs and Cats. Save these dogs NOW.

There are a few issues that bring the left and right together, protecting animals is one of them. Dog should not be jammed in crates to be experimented on. Pigs should not be shoved in gestational crates to rot and live their lives in torture. Dogs “belonging” to drug addicts on skid row aren’t “property” to be bred and abused.
