@HJB3996 @kevward3 @fesshole I used to find them easier when my sons were very little because of the extra space to get them out of the car in a baby seat, rather than the distance. But I would always have given one up for a blue badge holder.

@kevward3 @fesshole As far as I know parking in those isn’t against the law but parking in a disabled spot w/out a badge is. I think that’s far worse too. There are a lot of disabled people who will have to go home if they can’t get a disabled parking spot. Most parents can walk a bit further.

I'm constantly reporting cars that park in my local disabled bay with no blue badge. I then watch from my flat window for the warden to issue a ticket and then for the person discovering their £30 fine whilst clutching a Greggs and having a meltdown. I can't stop doing it.

@thosethatcan As a young bar supervisor, I was collecting glasses on a busy Friday night when a man tried to put his hand up my skirt. The manager had to escort him out and bar him, as the doorman was occupied by trying to get me to put down the 'wet floor' sign I'd picked up.

If you’ve worked in retail, pls could you share some ‘worst customer’ stories? A woman shouted repeatedly at my 17yo today on her second day working at M&S for rolling rather than folding a jumper and made her cry. Exercises in resilience. Humour has (almost) saved the day.
