In Jaipur, #GlobalHandwashingDay2024 was observed at the Anganwadi and Primary Health Center in Ward 119 to further strengthen the ICDS commitment—"We Make Handwashing Happen Every Day." The event featured the setup of a "Happy Tap Handwashing Unit" and the release of four posters for pregnant and lactating women, focusing on hand hygiene, safe sanitation practices, nutrition, and pre- and postnatal care of infants and children, particularly to mitigate the risks of climate change. The posters were collaboratively developed by CFAR, frontline workers, and community leaders and have now been institutionalized under ICDS for dissemination across all ICDS centers. As we get closer to 2025, we start remembering the amazing work our teams have been putting in. HappyTap Philippines started this year with a bang as the Tanauan Water district donated HappyTaps to two schools to ensure that the students have a healthy and germ-free school year.
