Now that Project 0 is live (@project0), I think it’s time to reintroduce myself:
Prev:
• Founder at KCM, a hedge fund I started at 15y/o & liquidated at profit before working on special projects at @MorganStanley and a PE Firm
• Co-Founder at Cabana Health, a company I started at 19y/o and sold to an international strategic after expanding to 20+ countries fully bootstrapped
• Co-Founder at @marginfi, a protocol I started at 21y/o which was the fastest growing DeFi protocol in the industry in 2023 (TVL).
• Co-Founder at @mrgntrade, the most dominant proprietary trading firm on Solana at that time at 23 y/o.
Then, my past cofounder at marginfi exited in a very public & unprofessional way, leaving marginfi with a damaged reputation, blocked operations, broken infrastructure, and a nearly impossible path forward.
To those who know the extent of what I went through, & who worked tirelessly with me through those painful days – you have my unending love.
That’s what gave me strength to go out, build a new team, build new infrastructure, and create something net-new for DeFi: Project 0.
While this was happening, I also co-founded @temporal_xyz: a premier R&D firm on Solana.
Temporal was instrumental in helping Project 0 get to this point, and I’m thankful to all my past teammates there. Without working together, Project 0 likely would have gone bankrupt. The last year has been full of hard work, and I’m overjoyed that today both Project 0 and Temporal are thriving.
So now, finally
• Founder at Project 0 (@project0), the first generalized, DeFi-native prime broker. This is a landmark moment for DeFi, and a product made possible by Solana's composability and speed. I am now 25 years old.
Today, Project 0 will be powering the marginfi program, the marginfi dApp, and the MRGN validators
Project 0 is the culmination of everything I've learned over my last 10 years in technology, finance, and crypto. I'm excited to build this together with you.
