Former OCPA trustee Tom Coburn always said Medicaid should be a safety net for the most vulnerable, not welfare for able-bodied adults. He warned that the Obamacare Medicaid expansion would blow a hole in Oklahoma’s state budget. He was right. It’s time to tighten eligibility integrity and enact other common-sense reforms.

I was skeptical, but now I’m completely convinced. Fencing will become super popular due to this one very particular improvement to the sport. “Sword tip visualization” It’s going to debut at the summer olympics. Every single duel will look like a bloody lightsaber fight

“I think after the midterms, President Trump will be a little unleashed,” says GOP strategist @KristinDavison. “I think we’re finally going to see things that other presidents have failed to do, like fixing Social Security and doing something about immigration. Those two things I think we will see in the second half. Legacy builders. He’s got nothing to lose.” @MarkHalperin

The U.S. Supreme Court declined to review Stroble v. Oklahoma Monday. The decision likely means tribal citizens will need to continue paying state income tax. kosu.org/kosu-news/2026…

🚨 Jamie Dimon explains why people are leaving New York "Our head count in Manhattan when I got to JPMorgan was 35,000 and now is 26,000. Our head count in Texas started at 11,000, now it's 33,000. That's what happens." Jamie Dimon on why companies are leaving New York: "Highest individual taxes, highest estate taxes, highest corporate taxes, anti-business sentiment." "When I grew up as a kid in New York City, there were 120 of the Fortune 500 headquarters there. In the 1970s, 60 of the 120 left, including Exxon, GE, IBM, Union Carbide. They're all going to Texas." The Hill & Valley Forum 2026 @HillValleyForum @jpmorgan @ChairmanG

Hard to overstate the role shale gas has played in lowering inflation and spurring American industry. Were we a net importer today as forecast in the 2000s, domestic nat gas & power would be at multiples of current pricing, serving as a huge tax on individuals and companies. 1/5

For the first time in as long as I can recall, the #OU Board of Regents will have two members hailing from #SWOK, where #Cameron University is making major moves on the #workforce front that Hilliary and Gov. Kevin Stitt emphasized in today's announcement. nondoc.com/2026/03/19/sti…

National optimism causally affects fertility. When people feel more hopeful about the future, they are more likely to have children. Sentiment is a crucial, underappreciated driver of birth rates.

Eight (8) states have no state income tax. Sixteen (16) states have a flat, single rate state income tax. Five Red States have passed laws that will bring their income tax rate to zero: Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, West Virginia, Kentucky. Twelve states total (including the five above) have Republican leadership that is publicly committed to move to zero state income tax. Workers, investors, capital, smarts and electoral votes move to low and zero income tax states.
BuccoCapital Bloke@buccocapital

Basically every Republican state is racing to cut income tax at the same time Democratic ones are sprinting to raise them Will be a fascinating economic experiment
