@indian_pitta I remember seeing my first Peacock in India, it looked so out of place in a "jungle". I'd only previously seen them on the lush, green lawns of stately homes in the UK. 🤣

@Ade_Dohyeen We've had separate bedrooms for more than 10 years. He has Fibromyalgia and sleeps badly: Tossing/turning/snoring/too hot/too cold/restless legs and I'm a lifelong insomniac and light sleeper. Our own bedrooms maintain our 23 year relationship.

My parents slept in separate rooms my whole childhood. I asked my dad about it once. He said they made a deal early because my mum snores and he tosses. He said they sat down one evening and talked it through like a business meeting. His words. He said the first night apart they both slept like babies. He said they were happier than they had ever been. He never told people. Because when he said separate rooms they said oh I'm sorry. He said he was never sorry. He was just tired of explaining that love does not have to mean sharing a blanket. They are still married 39 years later.

Yesterday when I was watching my son play football from my car another car pulled up beside me and its occupants stood in front of my car blocking my view (it was cold and drizzle so getting out of the car wasn’t ideal). I popped my head out and asked if they could please move over just a little bit so I could see. Within seconds an angry man was waving his finger in my face telling me not to tell his family what to do. I thought he was going to hit me. Another man told him to calm down and step away from me. I didn’t let him see my fear but my heart was beating so fast I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. It took about an hour for my body to stop being in fight or flight mode. When a man claims women haven’t objected to their presence in female spaces this is why..
