Shirley is a total neophyte who doesn't know any of the procedural details of being an investigative journalist; however, he does understand the concept of knocking on a door and asking a simple question. Is he sensational? Of course. Is he standing on the shoulders of old investigations? He admits to that, ... but he does know how to focus energy on corruption. At the end of the day, when you focus the world on corruption, it gets fixed.

IRAN WON THIS WAR Don't believe me? Check the terms of the ceasefire

So Trump accepted the 10-point peace plan that Iran proposed previously that Trump said was “not good enough.” But now it is apparently good enough. Art of the Deal.

Trump just agreed to a two-week ceasefire. I’m sure some people will claim this was all part of some “4D chess,” that the dangerous rhetoric was necessary or strategic. It wasn’t. He was publicly using language that suggested genocide. That should never come from a President of the United States. If other countries aren’t laughing at us, it’s only because they’re too busy being alarmed that someone speaking this way also controls one of the largest nuclear arsenals in the world. Here’s the reality. Trump isn’t going to be removed by his cabinet. The current Congress isn’t going to act. The only real path is impeachment, and that only becomes possible if voters change who is in power this November. Hopefully, the world doesn’t get worse before then. The fact that this even feels uncertain is terrifying.

Trump is not going to blow up the world at 8pm tonight, at least I hope not. But that doesn’t change the fact that he is unfit for office. His use of emergency tariffs is driving up costs and fueling inflation, and his reckless, unjustified escalation toward conflict, especially when we haven’t been attacked, is pushing the world toward economic instability. At the same time, our standing with allies has taken a serious hit. Here’s the reality. If Trump is going to be removed from office, it’s not coming from his cabinet, and it’s not coming from Congress as it stands today. The only real path is impeachment, and that requires a shift in power. That means voting in the midterms and replacing those who won’t act.
