Here's Ayo Dosunmu talking about what he's reading in pick and roll coverage and why he's taking more midrange shots in Minnesota after those were prohibited in Chicago. "In Chicago, midrange shots was really prohibited. It was 3s and layups, no midrange shots unless it's the end of the shot clock. Here, we got Rudy, he's setting big screens. So if you can set up pick and roll, you come off Rudy, you open." Dosunmu took 4 "long" midrange shots in 45 games in Chicago this season before being traded to Minnesota. And he's taken 12 in 15 games for the Wolves. Dosunmu has also nearly doubled the frequency in which he's taking shots from floater range. Dosunmu took 86% of his shots in Chicago at the rim or from 3. In Minnesota, he's becoming a three-level scorer. And his eFG% has stayed almost exactly the same.

@HoustonRockets Rockets are low IQ players. Durant not willing to go to the block with Smart on him. Team hasn’t adjusted to the cherry picking. Smdh!

𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥 𝐏𝐞𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐊𝐆’𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐋𝐞𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟖𝟐 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐫𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭: Summary: 1. Today’s players are out of shape: We practiced 5 on 5 and did drills every day- building more endurance. 2. They do more individual training at slower speeds for 30 minutes, then try to play a full-speed 2 hour game. Our training was at game speed and much longer- building resistance and endurance. 3. In the summer, we played 5 on 5 basketball for 7 hours a day. They do individual work every day for just 30 minutes.. 4. KG says he would train and absolutely kill his body so that when the games started, they felt easy and his legs wouldn’t give out in the middle. Guys don’t train like that anymore. 5. Pierce says it was much tougher to play back then because you couldn’t just switch, you got hit a lot more, and the game was way more physical. He even argues you ran more since you had to tag your defender and fight through screens. Now you just switch. 6. Pierce says guys don’t play more than 75 games today because they’re not as tough as they were in his era. 7. Danny Green says they run more miles today and deal with more tendon issues. PP responds that it’s because they don’t have endurance- they don’t practice at game speed every day. Danny Green agrees. Masterful response from KG and Pierce. This is why they SONNED Bron and made him call Wade to join him. Different mentality. They didn’t make excuses they trained HARDER 👊 Miss me with them weak excuses Bron Bron ✌️

Kevin Durant reflected on his earliest memories of DRose w/ @EMcintosh762681 ahead of #1 going to the rafters in the UC: “I remember one coach saying, “This dude is going to be the best player in the league.” He was 13 when they were saying that. That was the projection. So to see him come out, live up to expectations as a player, get his jersey honored and retired, and be loved across the basketball community… I’ve got nothing but love for D-Rose.” Click here for KD's full comments: youtu.be/7kffXiwRe18 #DerrickRose #DRose #BULLS #SeeRed

@BleacherReport Giving up half the rotation that has made us a respectable team for a $60mil player that can’t stay healthy. Basically this trade removes the rotation, a pick, and AD because he won’t be healthy. #HELLNO

Nah, Matas looks good... they are blitzing him and double-teaming him because he's 1-on-5 ... he's here to work on becoming more of a point forward, not impress anyone.

@JCowleyHoops Buzelis looking like GL Ignite Buzelis. There are no other NBA players on the court with him. Essengue looks 2 years away. Maybe it’s nerves. Interesting first half.

The Bulls are holding firm on not offering Josh Giddey $30 million annually in contract negotiations, per @KCJHoop. If Giddey’s representatives continue not to like Chicago’s offers, they could accept the $11 million qualifying offer to become an unrestricted free agent in 2026.

Tre Jones and Isaac Okoro transactions are official for the Bulls today, but what about a certain Aussie guard who is still in limbo? Josh Giddey news as well. Read it ... chicago.suntimes.com/bulls/2025/07/…

@gruenjr @CHGO_Bulls @Bulls_Peck Thank you! Not sure why they salivate over draft picks the way they do. Brooklyn had four 1st round picks and came away with four players that will have average career at best.

@CHGO_Bulls @Bulls_Peck I think guys are over-valuing draft picks by A LOT. Eye balling 20-24 Drafts, draft classes on avg are below average on BPM (-1.925 all picks). Highest class avg pts/game is 2021 at 10.6/game.

.@Bulls_Peck gets REAL about the Lonzo Ball trade: “They have now, over the past year and change, traded Alex Caruso, Zach LaVine, Demar DeRozen and Lonzo Ball. In exchange for those FOUR players, ONE draft pick.”
