@LimewoodChess On behalf of Harrogate CC can I say how sorry we are to hear this news. Alan represented Harrogate in the Yorkshire League on a few occasions - he was a great man and a dedicated organiser.

We will be having a moment's silence before our home games this Wednesday (the 15th) to remember Alan.

Harrogate defeated Pudsey 2-1 in the Arjay Cup last night and progress to the next round.

Regrettably the secondary schools tournament tomorrow has been cancelled due to a complete lack of entries. We have a thriving secondary schools club but there seems to be no interest in an independent tournament.
