Robert is the strongest candidate Reform could have put forward. Makerfield born and raised, ex-army reservist and NHS technician, local councillor, *actually* a plumber, and won 32 percent of the vote in 2024 back before Reform were a national force. A smart pick not to parachute someone from HQ in to stand against Burnham. Reform swept Wigan at the local elections, so Rob has the strongest starting position of any of the candidates.

@ScottGoetz_ Outcome 1: Labour win, Burnham becomes PM, Labour briefly improve their polling but inevitably the country gets worse and their party gets blamed for it, giving us time and opportunity to win in 2029. Option 2: We win the election, gather momentum and gain vital publicity.

There is absolutely zero chance Restore wins this seat but some probability they assist Burnham in becoming PM by taking votes from Reform, thus leading to much more liberal immigration policies for 3 years. This is what they are campaigning for.

I have quite an odd origin story for being an Anglophile, which is that I first fell in love with British cooking. I had heard so often the stereotype of it being terrible, so I went to an English pub and actually tried the stuff. I found it phenomenal and fitting to my palette. It really is quite great. Bangers and mash, beef Wellington, shepherds pie, meat pies, yes even things like beans on toast are all great, hearty food that is honestly my favorite cuisine. My favorite breakfast of all is a full English, with black pudding and all, alongside a cup of English breakfast tea with a splash of milk. I am actually of the belief that this particular stereotype was actually crafted specifically to facilitate mass replacement migration, to build false pretenses that the native ethnic foods and culture of European peoples were simply inferior to nons, when that could not be further from the truth.
