Which of these two encounters do you think was the most terrifying for Odysseus? Was it Polyphemus the Cyclops, where Odysseus and his men were trapped inside a cave with a giant who saw them as prey? Or was it Scylla and Charybdis, where Odysseus faced a deadly choice between two horrors and had no way to save everyone?

This scene was taken from Book 12 of Homer's Odyssey, describing the terrifying moment before Scylla attacks Odysseus' ship: "Scylla snatched six of my comrades from the hollow ship, the bravest and strongest of my crew.
