My younger sister got married recently. Before the wedding, there was a time she spent two days at her partner’s place. Just two days. It sounded small on the paper, but in our family settings, that was out of place. She tried to hide it, but these things have a way of coming out. When it did, the house changed. If your parents are not comfortable with it, don’t ignore that like it means nothing. It may be your life, yes, but the consequences don’t stop with you. If you want to cohabit, let both families be aware. It reduces unnecessary tension and avoids disrespect that could come back later. If approval is not there, you can visit, spend time, build your relationship. But living together without that understanding? It can create problems you didn’t plan for. Some things are not about right or wrong alone. Timing matters. Respect matters. Where you come from also matters. A lot of people learn this the hard way.

Maybe I am old fashioned, but man, I don’t know why these athletes, musicians and celebrities are always exchanging the same women. I don’t understand it at all 🤷🏾‍♂️
