It's disheartening to see fear mongering regarding Ayurveda, propagated by certain individuals and social media handles with vested interests. Let us remember that our goal is the same – to heal and alleviate suffering. Instead of division, we should promote understanding and cooperation among all branches of medicine for the betterment of healthcare as a whole. As a long time Ayurveda practitioner, I believe in the power of holistic healing and the rich tradition of Ayurveda. Recent events have really pained me seeing the conflict between the pathies. The recent stance by the Supreme Court against mis-selling by unethical Ayurvedic companies as well as unethical endorsement of branded allopathic medicines by doctors, is a reminder that as healthcare professionals, we must prioritize the well-being of our patients above all else. However, this should not be interpreted as a dismissal of any particular branch of medicine, including Ayurveda. Ayurveda, with its centuries-old wisdom, offers valuable insights and treatments that complement modern medicine. Each pathy has its own unique strengths and limitations, and it is through collaboration and mutual respect that we can provide the best care for our patients. Together, let's embrace diversity in healthcare and work towards a future where all paths to wellness are respected & valued.🙏
