In-game currency tied to digital goods should NEVER be subject to “inflation” - These items cost LITERALLY nothing to REproduce. There is no scarcity, no supply chain, no materials. It’s pure corporate greed.

I distinctly remember the moment when I was 14, sitting in AP Economics class, when I found myself profoundly horrified by the realization that the sum total of all taxes — accumulated at each step of the way through income, consumption, corporate, sales, property, etc. taxes — result in a vastly higher effective tax rate than what your income tax bracket alone would imply.
