From Christmas trees to Christmas dinners, parties to performances and even special visitors, it has been a busy festive period across our schools. As we come to the end of term we would like to wish our children, families, staff and wider communities a very Merry Christmas!

As we head towards the end of term we wanted to thank the people who make time in school so special for our children throughout the year. It is the hard work of our dedicated staff teams and our wider communities that ensure our children are given every opportunity to shine!

This week marks the end of our Tennis term for KS1 & KS2, and multi skills for Reception. Even the bad weather didn’t hold up play, with pupils happily adapting to table tennis indoors 🏓 Clubs were a hit too, with gymnastics and football extremely popular.

A great, but wet & cold day at the Eco Power Stadium for both @BrantonLearners & @HatchellWood , who took part in the EFL kids cup 🏆 HW through to the quarters, in a tight affair, it went to pens, unfortunately loosing out 7-8 Fantastic effort, well done all

@HatchellWood and @BrantonLearners had the pleasure of having Commonwealth & @InvictusGames25 athlete, Sean Gaffney in to deliver sessions & tell his story. Can still donate, with money going towards sports equipment your children have chosen! Thank you all for your generosity

When you tell your class to record their ideas about our new ‘writing hook’ on a piece of paper, screw it up and then throw it like a snowball!!! (This wasn’t a waste of paper - we then ‘shared our snowballs’ and used them within the lesson!) A great way to introduce our topic!
