@Mark_Confidant I think this is closer to Pithing Needle than Wasteland, and if you ignore how brutal this card is to read and all that I bet its net-positive as a balancing backstop. I’d guess this only shows up if something is really off in which case I guess its good it exists.

Hey @BasicMountain can you explain from a game design perspective who these fixed wastelands are for at this point? Like, I'm not sure I see an appeal in maybe sometimes stopping that mill shark manland in standard at the expense of a worse manabase. I don't get it.

i like limited a lot and i think that new players should have to play limited, because in my opinion a core tenet of the magic experience is playing with bad cards

In Costa Rica, we have a mini game called "Booster Macho." It involves opening a booster pack, and the person who reveals the most valuable card gets to take the entire pool of cards from the participants. It's interesting and exciting. Do you have any similar game?

But no joke please play more lands in your Ninja deck. You actually are really happy to make your first 4 land drops with this deck. You want to be doing multiple things. Its much worse to not capitalize on the early turns then its to flood out in the late game.

Been playing a lot of Pauper recently because I had a pauper team event and wanted to prep for it.
I found this deck to be really good. I 4-0 dropped about 5-6 times playing this. I switched between 19-20 lands pretty regularly. 18 is not enough
