Haven't posted anything for a long time. Since then I finished lots of things regarding my X-band setup. My X-Band downconverter and LNA has been finished and it is up on my rotator. I've got this beauty last nigh from NOAA21 with a 90cm mesh dish & chaparral feed

The lock on my wallet stepped on a Claymore mine and I just got a Alinco DJ-X100. What makes this receiver unique is that it can receive ACARS messages without a computer. It only does POA (Plain Old ACARS) but hopefully one day it will do VDL Mode 2 allowing for CPDLC. I’m so into this radio. If you’d like one, I purchased mine from MTC - Maine Trading Company in Paris, TX for $399 which is the lowest price I’ve ever seen for a X100. I’m so into it ✈️📻🤓

Last night, JPSS satellites captured this awesome instance of the bright exhaust plume of a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launching from Cape Canaveral in Florida.
