@KobeissiLetter There is no chance that I ran would sign the Abraham accords…why would they? They have the advantage in negotiations across the board. Meanwhile, 20% of the world‘s energy supply is gone each and every day.

BREAKING: President Trump says negotations with Iran will "only be a great deal for all or, no deal at all, back to the battlefront and shooting, but bigger and stronger than ever before." He also calls on Middle East countries, including Iran, to sign on to the Abraham Accords.

U.S. President Donald J. Trump posted a lengthy statement on his Truth Social app earlier on the ongoing negotiations. This most recent statement was centered around President Trump’s proposition to Arab leaders on the Abraham Accords. Per the president’s statement, negotiations with Iran are still ongoing and “proceeding nicely.” Trump stated that it should be mandatory that any nation who signs on to a peace agreement between the U.S. and Iran should sign on to a wider rapprochement framework between Muslim countries and Israel. The president honed in on Saudi Arabia and Qatar, saying that they should immediately sign such a framework and if they do, others will likely follow suit. However, per reporting from @BarakRavid yesterday, the president’s proposition wasn’t met with enthusiasm by Muslim leaders during a group call yesterday.

@rebelfreebird1 @KobeissiLetter Reap what the U.S. sowed….U.S. started the war without consulting NATO members because Trump thought it would be a repeat of Venezuela, then get into a jam that can’t be fixed by bombs, then complain that NATO isn’t enthusiastic about getting involved??

@kodkod87 @ianbremmer Saudi Arabia has funded the killing of more Americans than Iran. Guess who funded the Sunnis during the Sunni Uprising when the U.S. was in Iraq… it wasn’t Iran, they backed the Shiites.

@ianbremmer “ kick in the front door and the whole rotting structure will fall”. -Adolf Hitler on the eve of Operation Barbarossa and the invasion of Russia. Seems to be the same mentality with Trump. He may want to brush-up on his history and see what happened.

@kodkod87 @ianbremmer Using your logic, we would have to take out the regimes in N. Korea, China, Russia, and half a dozen regimes in Africa. If our policy was to invade countries that kill its own people, we would be involved non-stop in endless wars across the globe.

@sentdefender If true, the U.S. would be embroiled in another never-ending war resulting in defeat. “Kick in the front door and the whole rotting structure will fall”. -Adolf Hitler quote on the eve of Operation Barbarossa & invasion of Russia. There seems to be that same mindset at play here

According to the New York Times, citing two Middle Eastern officials, the U.S. and Israel are preparing to possibly resume combat operations against Iran, possibly under a new name, as early as next week. Per the report, options for targeting include what one official called more aggressive strikes against both military and infrastructure targets. Additionally, another option on the table is to use special forces to go in and extract highly enriched uranium from inside Iran. However, per the report, this would need thousands of supporting troops and numerous other support elements to succeed and the risks of such an operation are extremely high.

@seethingllama @trombelone @WarMonitor3 You clearly have no understanding of global oil markets. Oil is fungible, why do you think you are paying more at the pump? The U.S. imports more oil than it exports due to demand.

@trombelone @HawkeyeFanChad @WarMonitor3 Flexing is what you just did crowing about terror attacks against civilians. Is this Iranian Navy in the room with us now? The price of oil being high just makes fracking profitable again for a petroleum exporter (the US).

@seethingllama @trombelone @WarMonitor3 They don’t need to export as many barrels of oil in relation to how many that we need to import. In addition, both Russia and China are backstopping Iran’s economy either through subsidies, direct payments, or under-the-table deals.

@seethingllama @trombelone @WarMonitor3 Then explain why oil tankers are transiting the strait. What is keeping back the normal flow of oil? What happens when you take 20% of global oil out of the market for a prolonged period of time? Have you checked the spot/on-demand prices for a barrel of oil lately?

@trombelone @HawkeyeFanChad @WarMonitor3 Where is this navy you speak of? At the bottom of various bodies of water. Using speedboats and anti-ship missiles against civilian ships isn't a flex for anyone but subhuman ESLs. We saw what happens when they attempt to take on military vessels.
