@TKlasky2269 @OviClapBomb I mean he hasn't really been passed up yet by anyone in his class besides Arty who was 2nd overall. Even Vanacker was still in junior just like Pridham. Unfair to compare him to older prospects

@OviClapBomb For me it's more about the fact they identified him and made a move to get him, rather than if they had just used a pick they already had. Maybe I'm overthinking lol but it's clear the Hawks loved him

@OviClapBomb Believe it was the 3rd rounder last year that was originally theirs that they ended up getting back for Taylor Hall. So it was a late 2024 3rd for an early 2025 3rd

@TheProspectDon Adam Novotny. Mostly seen as a middle 6 to 3rd line player but I think he can be a team's Artturi Lehkonen and elevate a top line. He's so good at forechecking that he'll get the puck back for his teammates more often so they can go to work

Who is a player in the NHL Draft that you are higher on than consensus?

@RinksideGeneral Really like Hakansson, Pantelas, and Scherbakov at the end of R1 but you can probably get one of them at 34

If the #Blackhawks trade back into the first round after pick 4, I’d love for them to build a pipeline of young defensemen with different profiles. There are many different forwards 1-3 years away, but basically no defensemen on the way. This is the draft to change that.

@BenPopeCST Sneaky target I've been thinking about is Bowen Byram. I would think the Sabres wanna keep Tuch and definitely Benson, so they'd need space. Byram will only be 25 at next season start and already has tons of experience
