@Oscarthefarmer 480 ha to go that’s our tractor and seeder, shaft snapped in the Hyd charge pump, dealer has been fantastic, waiting on truck to load it, back end of week. At least it is the backend of seeding and what we sow after getting it back will def be out of a frost window

Let's recap on productivity levels today shall we? 3 hour drive for parts, installed them, and then blocked up the planter (because it's too wet) on the first run. Hours wasted. So much winning, as a forecast 15mm front approaches.

@coyle_tim @Oscarthefarmer Fortunately ours is still under warranty tractor is 16 months old, the downtime is an inconvenience but it it what it is, the boys at Hutchos’s in Condo have been absolutely brilliant so far

I hope this bloke and every other so called leader that enforced this shit onto all of us die a slow painful lonely death !

The attention to detail in fallow spray brews has never been more important imo. Resistant and hard to kill weeds now dominate most fallows. Ftr, jersey cudweed and Paraquat resistant fleabane have really made us earn our stripes as agros! #aggrowagronomy

@HaworthSplinta Asking for a neighbour? You haven’t had a crop under 4t in yrs 😉. Btw a fair rate is upwards of $50/ha depending on age and capacity of machine. Going below that means an older depreciated machine that prob won’t do your desired job on the straw spread.

Gday all Having trouble keeping barley in this year, 8240 really struggling. Tried everything bar concaves. Running small large large skip skip and still hookin it out the back. Any ideas on the matter much appreciated

@HaworthSplinta The loss is coming from where? Rotor or sieves? Concave “level & Centre”? Spiked bars in separation area? ALL sieves checked for evenness of opening - front to back & side to side? Calibrated? Top sieve rear curtains? Barely been frosted?
