If you're invited to order an R2, are you custom ordering using the configurator with a longer wait or taking the first available similar to your desired build off the R2 Shop? I expect R2 Shop lead times to be 1/4 to 1/2 that of configurator orders.

In Dixie, you can actually tell if a setup is worth chasing simply by looking at the SPC outlook. If it’s shaped very elongated like this from west to east, it will bust 9.9 times out of 10. Be there for the .1!

It’s definitely odd that Rivian is advertising the Coastal Cloud interior so much on R2 when it won’t be available at launch. 😢

@Hilbe If im not mistaken the last block party is in Nashville May 22-24. It would be awesome if they started deliveries after all the block parties are over.

It’s nothing personal— I love the R2 and hope to own one someday. I made this reservation more than two years ago, before I was able to afford a Cybertruck. R2 was supposed to hold me over for CT. At the time I drove a Model 3 SR, which was supposed to get me to now, Spring 2026 for R2. I switched up my career in mid-2024, and behold, Cybertruck is now in my driveway. I currently have no plans or spare cash to purchase another brand new vehicle anytime soon. When I’m ready to buy an R2, a reservation won’t be necessary.
