Thank you to the BBC News team and presenter Christian Fraser having me on a few weeks ago to discuss our pre World Cup draw. Can’t believe we have almost a France 98 blueprint in our group of Brazil, Morocco and first time Haiti. The ticket prices and allocations have been shocking not only for Scotland but across every nation who’s partaking in the tournament as well the nations who’ll come through from the play offs. We’ve lost sight of the fact that football is nothing without its fans. Thousands of fans will miss out attending as well as being part of the usual enjoyment of the build up and party atmosphere of a tournament. This is extremely disappointing for all fans who are normally able to travel to support their nation due to absurd prices of tickets as well as poor FIFA allocations via their local FA’s. The dynamic pricing model of the FIFA resell of tickets has out priced so many of our own Scotland fans who unfortunately won’t be able to go to the USA. For those of us who’re lucky to get tickets in Feb 2026, we will make sure our 3,788 allocated fans and others in the stadium will make us much noise as we can in Boston and Miami to support our 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️players. Wishing everyone across family, friends, my colleagues from the @FamousTartan, @NoScotNoParty, @scottishfsa, the 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Tartan Army, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️players, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️coaching staff and the media 🙌, a very Merry Christmas 🎄 and a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year in 2026 🫶🏼🥳 @ScotlandNT @scottishfsa @TartanArmyGroup @NoScotNoParty @FamousTartan @TheTartanScarf @SSCMembers @pieandbov @scotlandscoeff1 @BBCSportScot @offtheballbbc @ScotlandSky @BBCSport @5liveSport @BBCRadioScot @FP_Scotland

He is 32 years old Worked landscaping and emptying bins as a teen while fighting his way back into pro football. Known as a "time freak" Always first to training, never pays fines for lateness Vomited on the Melwood pitch during his Liverpool medical lactate test. Klopp heard about it and laughed from afar😅 Brother made big sacrifices, often left behind while parents traveled to watch young Andy Robertson met his wife Rachel (high school sweetheart) as teens. They have three kids (Rocco, Aria, and youngest) and keep family very private Missed a Liverpool game for the birth of one of his children Robertson wears personalized boots honoring family. He's very emotional about them Ruffled Messi's hair during a match 😁 Robertson adores Diogo Jota so much and after the heartbreaking news, he said "I can't believe we're saying goodbye... thank you for making my life better" . . . Personally, I feel Andy Robertson deserves more praise and accolades than he has received so far in his career. He is one of the backbones of Liverpool Robertson holds the team together. I've watched many Liverpool matches and I see the way he goes about on the pitch. He is also very consistent in play and impacts the game when he's brought on. Hardly gets injured, especially during his early years at Liverpool. Has good sportsmanship Rarely see him get into a fight or brawl with the opponent Rarely see him argue with his teammates or fault them openly. . . . He deserves every good thing that comes his way. And I wish him and his lovely family, all the blessings and success in his next stage. . . . ✍️ Vincent the Therapist

Robbo and his agent will be very clear about his plans next season. Just turned 32, yes he’s a yard slower but that’s footballers as they get into their 30’s. He’ll do what’s right for his body, his mind, and more importantly, his family. I know there will be a lot of offers on the table and I know Andy will weigh them all up before he goes out to 🇺🇸 to captain our squad. However knowing him, that decision will be kept close to his chest until he’s back after our world cup final 😉 I’ll cry with him and you all on that last day for Liverpool… so many memories, thanks to all of @LFC for making his dreams come true and believing in him. We seen it converted on the pitch when he pulls on his 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 jersey and he’s grown into a world class footballer. He’ll finish up and get his head together for a bit before heading off to the 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 training camp. 👏🏼💪🏼❤️

🚨🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Tottenham have a verbal agreement to sign Andy Robertson in June 2026, all terms in place. Nothing signed/sealed yet as staying in Premier League will be a key factor ahead of proceeding. Robertson, ready to pick #THFC project if relegation battle has positive outcome.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Built on Effort, Remembered in Glory, The Andy Robertson Story I remember the first time I saw Andy Robertson in the flesh, a cold afternoon in Kirkcaldy as Raith Rovers hosted Dundee United back in 2014. Even then, before the medals and the grand stages, there was something unmistakable about him. He moved with a purpose others could not match, played with a conviction that set him apart. He looked levels above, and you left the ground, certain you had seen a player bound for bigger things. What followed at Liverpool FC was the fulfilment of that early promise, and more besides. Signed without fanfare, he rose to become arguably the finest left-back the club has known, a claim that stands comfortably alongside the great names of the past. In an era that demanded more from the position, he reshaped it with relentless energy and rare quality, turning defence into attack with a swing of his left foot and an unending appetite for the next run. There was steel in his tackling, craft in his delivery, and a spirit that burned through the side at its peak. Titles followed, all of them, and through it all, he remained a constant, trusted, tireless, utterly committed. He didn't simply play his part; he drove it, setting a standard that others were compelled to follow. Yet beyond Liverpool, there remains something more enduring, at least for me. As captain of Scotland, his story will continue this summer on the grandest stage of all, untouched by his departure from Anfield at the end of the season. He carries with him the qualities that first caught the eye: hard work, resilience, and a sense of duty to the shirt. In an age often drawn to polish and clicks, he has offered something simpler and rarer. A footballer shaped by effort as much as talent, a competitor of fierce pride, and a man who never forgot where he came from. It has been a privilege, Andy, an absolute privilege.

He’s been one of the best LB’s in the world. 9 years of playing at Liverpool. If I can give a brief synopsis of our Robbo: Turns up at Liverpool. Throws up on day one and is on his knees puking everywhere. Ends up a Champions League winner and captain figure. In summary Andy said he was just a wee lad from Glasgow… spewing on Melwood… then running the place a year later 😄 and the medals, tournaments, cups you have won! We know how hard it’s been for you personally since July as well as your team mates, the club and its supporters. 🙏🏼🥺 We are so proud to call you our skip at home🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, to have grown up a mile away from you and go to competing district schools, our mums sitting in the same hairdressers together chatting about each other for years. South side is a small area! The world is your oyster, we’ve got an exciting summer ahead 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👏🏼and we all wish you every success with your next ⚽️ ventures Andy. ⚽️⚽️🙌🙌💪🏼 @LFC

Barney Stewart comes across as a really likeable guy, proper infectious character. I think the World Cup will likely come too soon for him but who knows? If he continues scoring in the post-split fixtures and at Hampden in the Scottish Cup he could become impossible to ignore.

Scotland invented the modern game of football. Costs for Scotland tickets are far too high. Football should belong to the fans, and tickets should be available for the Tartan Army to enjoy the World Cup. We’re calling on FIFA to act.

The Tartan Army are the greatest supporters in the world, and have waited almost 30 years for the World Cup. They should not be priced out by dynamic ticket pricing. I’ve written to FIFA to urge fairer and more affordable prices. Football should be about fans, not finances.
