@RealHellenist How could you have defended this land with these idiotic soldiers? It’s entirely thanks to the Ottomans that you didn’t perish.

@TurkiyeBasedd If a time traveler from Greece were to go back to the time of Alexander the Great, he would never be able to return, because they would shove the device up his butt.

🇲🇰 Alexander the Great Was Macedonian, Not Greek! 🇲🇰 Alexander the Great was the king of the Kingdom of Macedonia. He was born in Pella, commanded the Macedonian army, and grew up with Macedonian traditions. His father, Philip II, was also Macedonian. In ancient times, the Macedonians defined themselves as Macedonians; the southern Greek city-states often insulted them by calling them “semi-barbarians.” The Macedonians built a powerful kingdom, developed a professional army (the phalanx), and destroyed the Persian Empire. Alexander marched all the way to India with his Macedonian soldiers. The Greek city-states, on the other hand, were weakened by internal conflicts; Alexander’s conquests were the product of Macedonian genius. The Greeks are history’s greatest thieves. They never built a single great empire throughout history. In the classical period, they remained divided into small city-states and could never establish a lasting empire. If you ask a Greek to name 10 real Greek kings, they would struggle; because in classical Greece, the monarchy system was very limited. Most of the names they give are mythological or fictional characters (such as Agamemnon, Theseus, etc.) that never actually existed. The real achievements belong to the Macedonians. The Greeks are trying to “Hellenize” Alexander, but history is clear: Alexander was a Macedonian king and the commander of the Macedonian army. He proudly carried his Macedonian identity. Alexander was Macedonian. Trying to overshadow the unique military and political achievements of the Macedonians is a historical injustice. Ancient Macedonia was a nation that followed its own path, separate from the Greek city-states. This heritage belongs to the Macedonians.

Turkey is the New Iran. In the first part of my Greek-language interview with @DimokratiaGr, conducted by Giorgos Charvalias, I set out the strategic reality. Turkey is not a difficult ally. It is a coercive system. Iran built an axis outside the West. Turkey is building one from within - under NATO cover and through European access, Hamas conduits, drones, missiles, strategic depth and ideological warfare. The Turkish occupation of northern Cyprus is no longer a Cypriot or Greek file. It is already an Israeli security file. Ankara has turned the occupied north into strategic depth: intelligence cover, drone infrastructure, maritime leverage, grey finance, Hamas conduits and a forward position opposite Israel’s energy-security perimeter. Article 5 was not written to protect Hamas. If Turkish territory becomes a sanctuary for forces hostile to Israel, NATO will not convert terrorism into immunity. A Hamas command node on Turkish territory is not an alliance asset. It is a liability. Nor is this only about Erdogan. On Cyprus, the Aegean, Syria, the Kurds, Israel and Turkish primacy, Islamists and Kemalists often differ in language, not in perimeter. One says empire. The other says Europe. Both defend the same perimeter. The interview also covered the next stage of 3+1: mutual assistance without automatic war; Greece’s legitimate concern about being drawn into Israel’s conflicts; 1974 as a warning against confusing avoidance with deterrence; America as a partner, not a foundation; A Clean Break’s misreading of Turkey; Jolani’s Syria; Azerbaijan and Armenia; and why, for Greece, this is not an opening for war, but an opening for leadership. Declarations are over. Deterrence begins when we organise power. 🔗 dimokratia.gr/politiki/69632…

Democracy in Turkey is a joke. And these clowns demand entry to EU when the EU should be looking into expelling Turkey from NATO. They are unstable with ties to terrorist organizations and dangerous for the region.

Erdogan is not immortal, so the damage being done to the Turkish state and economy to keep him in power now risk severely weakening Turkey after he is gone. Comparisons with Russia's trajectory towards an unstable post-Putin era look more plausible than a few years ago
