Local Holidays Announced in Islamabad – 9th & 10th April. As per the notification issued by the Office of the District Magistrate, 9th and 10th April 2026 (Thursday & Friday) have been declared Local Holidays within the revenue limits of Islamabad Capital Territory. However, essential services will remain operational, including: ✔️ MCI ✔️ CDA ✔️ ICT Administration ✔️ ICT Police ✔️ IESCO ✔️ SNGPL ✔️ Hospitals Citizens are advised to plan their activities accordingly. The only time during Govt service that I suspended an official on technical grounds was when a Forester planted Eucalyptus trees in a beautiful Pine Forest of Murree Eucalyptus r now fully grown & in charge Forester seeking my advice to remove these I am hesitant; pl advise?

The new price of petrol is Rs 458.41 per litre. It was increased by Rs 134 per litre last night. This increase includes an increase of Rs 55 in petroleum levy. So the government decided to increase tax on petrol by Rs 55 at the same time it was raising prices. So let’s understand this. The government last night raised petrol prices by Rs 79 per litre but at the same time also decided to raise taxes on petrol by Rs 55 for a total increase of Rs 134 per litre. And it keeps saying it doesn’t want to burden the people and wants to lift the burden itself. Theek ho gaya.

Pakistan govt bans high-octane fuel use in official vehicles to cut cost. Decision follows recent increase in petroleum levy on high-octane fuel by Rs200 per litre So Mashallah the great bureaucracy of this country was using High Octane in their vehicles, Great ♥️

@PakistanPMDU Pak citizen portal is losing its efficacy. Have experienced a deferring things mindset in closing of complaints recently. polite excuse for not taking action on simple, public complaints. Also the layout of the app is unintuitive. Can’t seem to navigate easily.

@dcislamabad @ICT_Police it’s your duty to address this asap. It’s wreaking havoc with our daily commute & giving us stress esp those living in zone 2 societies! Have to consult local notables/residents b4 such initiatives. We go thru 2 such points to enter Isbd!

If it has to remain move it towards Pindi on the N5 to remove this double checking lacuna. Results in upto 1.5km traffic lines on N5 as attached. Remains so till late night. Heavy traffic blocks 2 out of 3 working lanes which is also not well managed by @NHMPofficial

مشہور ٹی وی ایکٹر اسد ملک لکھتے ہیں ایک مسیحی بچی ڈارلا کی صرف 3 ہزار کی خاطر جان لے لی گئی ارے تین ہزار کی کیا اوقات ہوتی ہے مجھ سے لے لیتے کیسے پتھر دل لوگ ہیں یہاں کراچی کے علاقے کورنگی سے ایک ایسی خبر سامنے آئی ہے جس نے انسانیت کا سر شرم سے جھکا دیا ہے۔ جناح میڈیکل سہیل ٹرسٹ اسپتال کی مبینہ غفلت اور سنگدلی نے ڈھائی سالہ معصوم بچی کی جان لے لی۔ ھماء مائیکل اپنی تڑپتی ہوئی بیٹی ڈارلا کو لے کر اسپتال پہنچتی ہے۔ ڈاکٹرز آئی سی یو کا مشورہ دیتے ہیں، مہنگی ادویات منگوائی جاتی ہیں، لیکن جب باری آئی علاج شروع کرنے کی، تو انتظامیہ کی "پتھر دلی" سامنے آ گئی۔ "میرے پاس 800 روپے تھے، میں ڈاکٹروں کے سامنے ہاتھ جوڑتی رہی، گڑگڑاتی رہی کہ میرا شوہر پیسے لے کر آ رہا ہے، میری بچی کا علاج نہ روکیں... لیکن انہوں نے کہا جب تک 3 ہزار روپے جمع نہیں ہوں گے، علاج نہیں ہوگا۔" افسوس! جب باپ پیسے لے کر پہنچا، تو تین ہزار روپے کی رقم تو آ گئی، لیکن وہ ننھی جان ہسپتال کے عملے کی بے حسی کی نذر ہو کر دم توڑ چکی تھی۔ کیا ایک انسان کی زندگی کی قیمت صرف 3 ہزار روپے ہے؟ "ٹرسٹ" کے نام پر چلنے والے یہ ادارے خدمتِ خلق کر رہے ہیں یا صرف پیسہ بٹورنے کی مشینیں بن چکے ہیں؟ ایمرجنسی کی صورت میں علاج روکنا کیا قانونی اور اخلاقی جرم نہیں؟ ہم اعلیٰ حکام، وزیرِ اعلیٰ سندھ اور سندھ ہیلتھ کیئر کمیشن سے مطالبہ کرتے ہیں کہ اس واقعے کی فوری انکوائری کی جائے۔ غفلت برتنے والے عملے اور اسپتال انتظامیہ کے خلاف سخت قانونی کارروائی کی جائے تاکہ پھر کسی ماں کی گود اس طرح نہ اجڑے۔ اس بچی کے لیئے آواز اٹھائیں تاکہ سفید کوٹ میں چھپے بھڑیوں کو سزا مل سکے 😥😥😥😥😥 #Karachi #justiceforDarla #HealthcareCrisis #SindhHealthDepartment #HumanityPoints #KorangiIncident
