@BBCWatchdog have a look into @currys and their disgusting gift card practices. Balances deducted, orders cancelled due to "error" and no refunds issued. Families left £100s out weeks before Christmas.

@Hctcr87 @currys Also, google refund to gift cards from currys, multiple promises of call backs and refund promise dates. Many customers still waiting over 3 months for a refund. Keep everything documented as you can go to small claims court successfully if promises are broken

Hi @currys, my order was canceled, and my gift card refund is delayed. Your chat team couldn’t provide timely help or escalate my case to a manager. I’m unable to place a new order during Black Friday. Please address this immediately before I escalate to Trading Standards.

@MrBains @currys Thank you! I definitely will. The most annoying part is that I bought the gift card through work specifically for this item, so even if I get the gift card refunded I'm stuck with a £300 Currys gift card I no longer need 😡

@currys @MrBains Same thing happened to us. No way to escalate except 'wait up to 5 days!!!!' which is too late to order the product then we'll be stuck with a £300 gift card we can't use 😡😡😡

@MrBains @currys We had the exact same thing happen to us! Now Currys have £300 of our money with no guarantee we'll have it back to place order on sale item. If not I'm stuck with a £300 gift card I can't use!!

@British_Airways I can't add by booking to the app (booked with airmiles is that why?). Can I use pdf boarding pass on my phone rather than mobile pass?

@British_Airways I don't have their booking reference or anything, I just thought I'd point out that he essentially worked for you for 4 hours under extreme stress and difficult circumstances and got not even a thanks.

The vat on a day place at my local private, would be £3k but it would cost you 8k+ to move that child to state school. Genuine question! On the fence!

It was a joy to spend time with children and their families in Nuneaton today. Labour will deliver for parents and give every child the best start in life with 3,000 new nurseries and free breakfast clubs in every primary school, funded by ending tax breaks for private schools.

@Jenny_1884 Every child deserves to have a breakfast at home in the morning. Not thrown out as early as possible to save the parents time. Breakfast clubs and “wraparound care” are shameful parental cop-outs.

I’m sorry but how much does a slice of toast or a bowl of supermarket brand cereal cost to feed your child? Not much. It’s ridiculous that taxpayers are having to fund free breakfast clubs. It’s time parents took more responsibility for their own children.

@GordonMcKee_ what are your plans for education in Glasgow? With labours plans to introduce VAT on private school, does this not cause concern of an influx of children to an already overwhelmed public system? With 450+ teacher cuts announced in Glasgow, what is the path forward?
