We would take a kid away from a parent for locking them in a closet. Yet, when a kid is a ward of the court via the juvenile justice system & a state becomes “the parent” it becomes ok to lock kids up in a closet. A state will even lock them up forever & call it justice.

With me they thought it was just me backing my son so when I reported the prea they decided to retaliate against 3 of my kids and myself. The more people they have no choice but to address it. This wasn't our first prea incident.

This is the reason I will work on criminal justice reform until my last breath. We live in a country where people get life sentences for stealing batteries and where prosecutors continue to fight to keep them behind bars. We have lost all perspective.

Robert was sentenced to LIFE for *shoplifting batteries* from KMart in 1998. Served 22yrs before his sentence was vacated last week. If convicted today he’d get 30 *days*. Prosecutors fought his release for years. (None of this is made up.) Angry, sad, & proud at the same time.

Then my 1st son i thought he was just defiant and hyper Nope at 6 they admitted for eval thru court 😡 7yrs later got him home DRUGGED UP!🤬

@Mitigation_Hope This is disturbingly true. My husband has been locked in boxes more than half his life. From age 5 he has been institutionalized... the state swooped in and put a dollar sign on his head and it's been hell since.

While they stomping our kids with their boots and beating them with the sticks. Thats still abuse Under 18 with mental illnesses

Every year since he was 16 I never got to spend 1 Birthday with Maine. 17 turned 18,then 19 and 20 in solitary. All my kids paid a price. Nov 17 i want to be able bring my grandson to visit his uncle Maine-Maine on his 21st birthday.
