This PvP community is BEYOND scuffed. Last two days have opened my eyes a little bit about how truly fake it all is. It is mind games, manipulation, backstabbing, and some of the most cringe behavior I’ve seen in a community. I’ve been PvP’ing in this game for years and years at this point. But only in the last year have I really started to connect with a lot of these more well established groups, and wow…. Wow is all I have to say on the matter. Maybe it’s my glass half full mentality or the attempt of mine to bring a more positive light to the community and make it less about chat PvP and more about SC PvP… but I’ve just been disappointed, frustrated, and let down over and over again after repeated cases of horrible human behavior. Let’s get back to treating each other with some respect and dignity and not like scum and maybe there will be some light at the end of the tunnel. Australia wrote to Kiwi Farms today, threatening them with an $825,000 Australian ($29.99 American) fine if they didn't censor a specific primary source document uploaded to their website for discussion purposes. Kiwi Farms responded with a very firm "no."

Yesterday I got a massive cyber attack on my discord server, thousands of (obviously illegal) CSAM were dropped and myself, mods, and any other unwilling viewer were exposed to this. The worst part is Discord moderation COMPLETELY FAILED. I couldn’t ban the attacker because it was an “App”, so I was forced to manually lock every channel in my discord to prevent any further harm. When I got to the last channel I was informed I couldn’t private it because “it’s against community guidelines to not have a text channel open to the public” MEANWHILE we were HELPLESS to stop the attack because of this. Discord claims they’re making recent changes because of child safety? What a joke. They can’t event prevent unapproved 3 day old app on their own platform from distributing CSAM. I’ve been a 8 year nitro user, I cancelled it last week because of the P*lantir connections. After this I’m looking completely for a replacement. 🤬 Discord if you want to make it up to me, start by getting these App creators involved with this attack arrested. Yes I submitted a report.

Received this DM this afternoon… I’m going to be 100% real in this post, when I started Order 66 and really got serious about it I was extremely close to quitting the game forever, I had recently been banned from a community I loved a lot and I’m not a solo type gamer. I play games for the community aspect. Starting an org took really a year before I got any traction, and that year was me playing very little, struggling to come up with ways to grow, trying to learn something I’ve never done before. Yet here we are, I’m having a blast, the journey has been wild and fun and we’ve got a great thing going currently. I’ve never really gotten a message on this subject so seeing it this afternoon was a great feeling I can’t lie. The SC community is a great bunch and I’m happy to play this dope space game with you all.

@ValourApp @CapedStrawberry It seems like you guys are doing a lot of solid work and I applaud you for that. But the less-techie/more-normie folks I've pointed towards Valour can't get past the UI/UX. Is that something you guys are looking to improve? Or is it generally meant for the more tech literate?

I was gonna say, Discord created the ultimate opportunity for any competitors out there. When something's so ridiculously unpopular, all it takes is someone to go "hey I'm not gonna do that unpopular thing" and they've basically won
