There are many ways for something to be beautiful, just as there are many ways to be Godly, but that does not mean that beauty is subjective.

@GlumBird A ruler, no matter how smart or good willed, can never know what each individual needs. Under socialism there will always be blind spots, and people will die. Even China has had to reintroduce private ownership because of these issues.

Basic human decency predates Christianity by thousands of years. Humans had empathy, reciprocity, taboos on murder and care for each other long before the church turned up and tried to claim copyright over morality.

"Guys, can you imagine that in a time of child sacrifice and slavery, genocide and war, that they said that you can have slaves so long as you treat them well and as your household, making it so that you must pay them and give them a way to buy their own freedom, and that unpaid slaves must be set free after six years? Wow! What horrible people! I can't believe that this morality, that declared all people equal under God, would inevitably abolish slavery and institute the most powerful and prosperous nations in the world, granting rights that no other society would ever dream of giving the common people! These people make me sick! How dare they have standards above other nations of their time and not the morality I have that are based on their morals!"

I always find these posts funny because as soon as you start using advanced philosophy to argue for religion, they accuse you of word salad.

@Hitchslap1 It is better to a point, but the higher end can come with a cost both in mental illness and isolation. As well, being able to brute force problems can have them develop wrong, both in skill and in personality.
