Curaçao is flourishing and growing. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas to my last destination of this visit: beautiful Curaçao! During talks with Prime Minister Pisas, the president of Curaçao’s parliament, members of parliament and the cabinet, a number of current issues were discussed. One example was geopolitical tensions around the world – including in this region – and their impact on the cost of living. Another important topic we discussed was administrative cooperation between our countries. With this in mind, we looked ahead to the plans to organise a Kingdom-wide conference – a recurring meeting between the four governments as equal partners within the Kingdom. This would allow relevant developments within the Kingdom to be discussed, as well as ways our countries could work together more closely and make full use of opportunities to improve people’s lives.
