@MainLineSpy Lived in Philly for 20+ years, so know it, but none of my North-Jersey family would have any knowledge of the phrase/location, is there a NYC equivalent (referenced in a movie/TV show) you could use to help explain it?

Quick favor. The book I’m writing takes place on the Main Line. I’m trying to gauge how familiar people from outside Philly (or the east coast) are with the term the Main Line. Someone gave me some feedback that surprised me. Where do you live? Have you heard of the Main Line?

@clhubes totally! I had twins when my oldest had just turned 2. Without fail I would get this call/text from friends after they recently had their 2nd: "I don't know how you did this with TWINS!" Incredibly validating!

@LukeEpplin Any early dinner reservation at a local place where you are comfortable! Def take the opportunity to reflect & celebrate together how things have changed in the past year

My wife and I celebrate our first wedding anniversary next week and we're trying to figure out how to do a date night with a one-month-old. Do we order in? Go to a restaurant but eat outside? Just bypass this year altogether?

@MegStEsprit Yup! But if they actually had decent IEP goals & followed the damn program they agreed to, I wouldn't have to be such a PITA and give them a reason to hate me

@clhubes Fascinating! This kind of comment as a mom of a singleton +twins really irks me - I respond something along the lines of “you would figure it out too if you had 3”

@NJSimmondsbooks This sounds good in theory, but then I realized that my kids leave their socks littered throughout the house and I pull underwear out of inside-out pants. Seems like a fight to get them to put stuff in mesh bags; will stick with teaching them to sort/fold their own

This is boring but I can't stop thinking about my sister's friend who gives all her kids a net bag to put dirty socks and underwear in and then washes and tumble dries the whole bag and returns them complete. No sorting, no odd socks, easy peasy. I'm buying some net bags!

I'm moving in 32 days. I'm considering creating a spreadsheet to number code my boxes with a list of contents and destination location. Is that weird?

@pastelpaiges I have taken to doing a seasonal basket I give them on the 1st day of each season. It limits me buying the random, small fun things. Instead they get that along with the stuff they need (socks, new goggles, PJs, etc). No Easter basket. Stockings are for toiletries & chocolate

@IBD_AGatlin @clhubes I already had a toddler when I found out I was pregnant with twins. I would like to think there is a special place in heaven for moms of 3+ kids

@TheMomHack @terrip38 For years our oldest believed this! I was so disappointed when our well meaning au pair bought him an ice cream and ruined it for us! 😆

My 4yo thinks the ice cream truck is “just a music truck.” NO ONE TELL HER
