After Nixon’s “I am not a crook” tax scandal, the IRS mandated that the president’s tax returns be audited yearly. Every president since Nixon (except Trump) publicly released theirs. With the new DOJ settlement ending his audits, Trump is essentially announcing “I am a crook.”

I brought my baby home from the shelter the other day. Meet Peanut.. She was sitting quietly in her kennel when I first saw her—tiny, wide-eyed, and trying to be brave. When the volunteer placed her in my arms, she tucked her little head under my chin like she had finally found somewhere safe to rest. That was it. I was hers. The ride home was soft purrs and curious glances out of the carrier. By the time we walked through the front door, she stepped out like she already owned the place.

This is Big Boy. Theres nothing wrong with this one, except maybe gigantism...... Hes like 20lbs and is less than a year old, the vet took x-rays and his growth plates haven't fused. He turned up a few months back, a neighbor asked for help with a cat who followed her home, I went purely to make sure it was healthy and he followed me home and that was that. My vet was kind enough to fix him first thing on the first Monday after he showed up. He looks like a massive adult cat but plays like a kitten, is submissive to other cats who are nice to him but will run up to any, no malice in his heart, just curiosity. He tries to grab and bite my hand and leg like kittens do but while its sweet and funny when (normal sized) kittens do it its a little more worrying when hes 3 times the size. He has zero fear, is 100% confident. He (play) chases the dog at the house behind me (think its a doberman) and this is him at the vets and no he isnt sedated, just having a casual nap.

This year's Juneteenth should be used to encourage Black people who are not registered to vote...TO REGISTER. Registration drives at all events. Reminds the racists that we aren't going anywhere.
