It's Trade Bill day! Tory rebels led by @JDjanogly and @neil_parish are backing NC4, which would give Parliament a vote on new trade deals, before and after negotiations. This is a chance for MPs to take back control as the UK negotiates deals with the US, EU and elsewhere.

As well as being world-leading in its aid effectiveness & transparency (unlike other government departments), DFID has provided significant input to other departments such as DIT - really hope that the trade for development agenda is not lost...

In the #QueensSpeech the Government has announced that Trade Bill is back - but without crucial amendments on democracy and scrutiny secured last time round. This means that MPs won't get a guaranteed say on a US trade agreement, or any post-Brexit trade deals.
