When I was in the hospital after Maisie’s birth, there was an increasingly agitated man with the woman beside me. I sent Mai out with a nurse because he was loud.
I tried to alert someone without him hearing me but no one responded to the call bell. Then I heard her cry out.

@lingerie_addict I once bought synthetic mohair for a crochet piece. It was a nightmare to work with and gave me a rash before the garment was even finished. I'm wary of this technology since then.

Every fabric that isn’t made from a natural fiber (silk, cotton, linen, rayon, wool, etc.) or material (leather, fur) is made from petroleum. Polyester, acrylic, nylon, spandex...they’re all fossil-fuel derived plastics.

@pike_place We recently took a family vacation to Seattle (driving out from Denver, exploring the city, the Puget Sound area, and the Olympic Peninsula). Pike Place Market was one of our favorite places- glorious food from cheese to dumplings, the anime/ TTG shop, and my favorite, MJ yarns!
