@vnarayan Me too, although I agree with your approach. Years of David Attenborough have helped me to realise that interfering can have unintended and worse consequences.

@HelenSissons My first thought was to try and save the butterfly but than another made me think that it was the spider’s food. I let nature take its course but all the time hoping for the butterfly to escape. It was hard to watch and I was happy to see the butterfly fly away.

It’s at times amazing how nature plays its way—ruthless at times but it is about survival after all . I was over the moon when the butterfly managed to break out of the web.
