Skills such as creativity, collaboration, ICT for learning and problem-solving stand out the most to me when thinking about 21st Century skills for education for sustainability. I will definitely be considering these skills when working through my unit plan. #SDG14 #UonTeach

@BronteDavis3 @seashepherd @SdG14 Have a look at their teaching resources! Sea shepherded are amazing at what they do and are passionate about teaching our young ones to be aware of the ocean and the environment. They have lots of resources on the website!!

I will be involving @seashepherd as a community asset for my school project. They offer the perfect platform to start discovering ocean education and dive deeper into conservation issues. It's wonderful that they visit schools to provide this information. @SDG14 #UoNTeach

I will be focusing on Critical and Creative Thinking and Literacy when learning about #SDG14 and #Sustainability. I believe with these capabilities in action, students are encouraged to think creatively about appropriate courses of action. #SDG14 #UoNTeach

@Mitchel48981334 Wow!! This really opens up perspective as plastic pollution in our ocean isn’t just a problem for us… it’s everywhere! We need to educate the next generation of global warriors to make a change and improve our biodiversity.

My #EDUC4750 project will focus on raising awareness around marine pollution and the harsh damage it is doing to our oceans. This directly links to target 14.1 of the United Nations SDG. #plasticpollution #UonTeach

The return and earn initiative looks at protecting our oceans and waterways in the future. By collecting plastic and recycling them through return and earn provides them with pocket money. This is great because it helps keep oceans clean. #SDG14 #EDUC4750

Hastings high has inspired my integrated unit of work! Students connect with the community by collecting and recycling materials from local families and shops. In addition, the design of the Mural is based on the local Birpai Totem, the Porpoise! portnews.com.au/story/6198902/…

@aden_corbett2 I recently saw a school using design technologies to design a sustainable school for learning in the future! I felt that I was able to adapt this to my unit life bellow water and could be a great project for yours too!
