Great way to get students amongst nature for an excursion as they learn about bush tucker food and indigenous culture. #educ4750 #uonteach

@KempTyla What a cute book. It is extremely import for students to have a sense of belonging and self worth this can be created within a classroom. As for standing up for themselves that's a harder concept for some students to grasp.

This is an inspiring book written by Nadiya Hussain and Illustrated by Ella Bailey! It goes through the motions of how students can stand up for themselves and maintain their mental health by having their own space and time alone. Would you read this book? #educ4750 #UoNTeach

@alison_tyrie Wowwwww. I have so many thoughts as to how you could get the kids moving at school. Creative arts could include traditional aboriginal dancing with elders, Zumba and a school dance group!!

An activity I pinched from instagram! A reflection activity, to support students with their mindful everyday acts and to help practice gratitude! Practicing gratitude is imperative to student wellbeing #SDG3 #EDUC4750

@JamesHow92 I strongly agree. If we all take action that's a lot of action to help for a better future for all.

One aspect of my school/community project is to allow students a safe, engaging place where exploration of their imagination and creativity is encouraged. Through an imagination door is a great place for adventure.

#climatechange crisis is one of the biggest challenges facing the #SDGs.None of the goals is free from its effect, hence, greater commitment towards the attainment of the global goals at the local level must reflect in greater response to climate change and its effects on people.

@MrJoshuaManning Yes this is true, things like undiagnosed sleep apnoea can cause depression and mental health issues heart breaking. Us as teacher just need to support and help when and where we can.

Did you know that increased tiredness is a sign that a student could be struggling with their mental health? #educ4750 #uonteach #SDG3

@alison_tyrie I agree. I see that this organisation has zooms available for the community to join and spread awareness of diversity, do they offer any educational courses face to face for younger students?
