No one goes to bat for the @livgolf_league players more than me. Goes w/out saying. But coddling them when they collectively 💩 the 🛌 does not do anyone any good. They need their asses kicked. So let Rory/the media do it this week - only the players themselves can change the narrative - no one else. I’m not defending this. Maybe some are getting soft? Indefensible collective performance & that’s that. We go again in May at the PGA.

@nypost Generalizing all of their stars as “softened” when Hatton is one of the three hottest players on the course is absolutely diabolical. Bryson has won a major since going to LIV. Brooks won a major with LIV. It’s totally possible a handful of guys had a bad tournament.

If Bryson wants the contract he’s asking for, the performance this week was completely unacceptable. No way to sugar coat it. No excuses. Needed him to perform & he didn’t do it. No one is harder on himself than Bryson & I know he’ll bounce back, but this was a disgrace.
