@TransLink Having gone way too far down a rabbit hole into TransLink operations. I can't find data on total number of suspected fare evaders to properly calculate ROI. Fare evasion is a messy topic. From folks who can afford and choose to misuse the system to many who can't.

@tjparker What was Techstars like back in the Pillpack era? I found Boston focused a reasonable amount on Financials. We were fortunate to have a co-founder with finance background whom I learned a lot from. But validating your question, many startups seemed to struggle, even with basics

Has any startup in the history of startups been great at accounting out of the gate? Feels like net drag to lean into legal, hr, compliance. But being really good at having accurate financials would be quite valuable. And I’ve personally never seen it.
