Grok actually understood the Hebrew prompt and delivered. Call it frontend wrappers or cosmetic ux all you want. At the end of the day users don’t live in tensor networks,we live in the output. Practical wins beat architectural purism every single time. That’s what actually matters. Would you really keep using a product that just fails to deliver?

@TheCaptainEli Evaluating an LLM's architecture based on image fetch APIs and playback controls is architecturally illiterate. You are benchmarking X's front-end UX wrappers, not the actual latent space.

Grok is better than Gemini even in Hebrew. I asked exactly the same question about the Hubble Space Telescope, which was launched into space 36 years ago today. Grok gave me a great summary with images, understood that I was speaking Hebrew, and responded perfectly. Gemini thought I was speaking in some unidentified language, gave a short and boring answer with no images, and no timeline or playback controls like Grok has.

That’s the same reaction I had when I experienced FSD for the first time. Ever since that moment, I’ve repeatedly been telling my wife I can’t live without FSD. It’s not just a checklist-type feature for the spec sheet; it’s a technology that redefines real-world use and must be experienced firsthand to understand. Truly magical!

More people in Australia are getting access to @Tesla's FSD (Supervised). Hotherside, who has 11k YouTube subscribers, just posted a video of him using it for the first time during a nearly 2 hour drive to his friend's wedding. "It is truly magical." Link to full video in thread below.

Anyone else with an AMD chip still waiting for the Grok update in your Tesla? I haven't gotten it yet.

Current head of compute at Anthropic, Corry Wang: “I don’t think people have realized how much this new Waymo scaling laws paper is basically an admission that “Waymo was wrong, @Tesla was right: In contrast to Waymo, it's clear Tesla has now internalized the bitter lesson. They threw out their legacy AV software stack a few years ago, built a 10x larger training GPU cluster than Waymo, and have 1000x more cars on the road collecting training data today.”

Google’s Veo is incredibly impressive. Here’s an 8-second video of ninjas fighting that almost seemed real. #Veo2 #ai #generated #video

@512x512 Make grok into an assistant. ChatGPT is very good with conversations and exceptional as a translator. If grok have similar capabilities then I’d switch as my go to. Perplexity is awesome when it comes to research and troubleshooting in an IT environment.

@rickytalbott @Tesla This happened to me as well. I was no longer subscribed to FSD without any warning. Luckily I’ve noticed it was missing before driving.

TESLA FSD WARNING: ‼️ I need Tesla’s attention on this. It’s an easy fix. @Tesla FSD Subscription has a HUGE LOOPHOLE and to me, it’s very dangerous. My subscription was canceled, without my knowledge. I have no strikes - ever. My subscription was automated withdraw. I have money in the account. This was unexpected and the “expectation of having FSD” Is the danger. I found this issue out mid stop light turn. When I thought it was FSD Engaged but it was actually Autopilot. The TINY message pre-drive saying, “Your Autopilot settings have been reset” was not understood. I thought it was in reference to speed settings. It was not. If I had started my drive from my driveway this would have been obvious, but I wait until I’m out of my neighborhood at a speed of 45mph, before I cut it on. At this point it is was not an obvious difference between Auto Pilot and FSD. It BECAME OBVIOUS mid stoplight turn. Tesla needs to fix this. If a subscription is ended, an acknowledgment of the car not having FSD should be required at the BEGINNING of the drive. Fix this Tesla. @SawyerMerritt @wholemars @ajtourville @elonmusk

Completely agree with you. I’ve had two incidents where fsd 12.3.6 almost hit the guard rail entering the freeway with a 70 degree turn. My assessment is the possibility of fsd switching to autopilot stack during the transition from regular road to freeway. I love fsd but it’s not ready yet.

Don’t get me wrong, I still love FSD and its convenience, but it definitely still needs some work to prevent incidents like this one. V12.4 can’t come soon enough

@SawyerMerritt Is it based on camera detection? If indeed by detection of the camera then pressure sensitivity wouldn’t matter.

Tesla has improved the Cybertrucks frunk sensing so that it won't close even on soft objects like a Banana. All Cybertrucks get this update in Tesla's Spring software update (2024.14.3), which is rolling out now.

Tesla gave @BBC_TopGear an exclusive look at some never before seen prototype Cybertruck accessories, including a Cybercooler with stainless steel front. They also tried out the Cybertent in the wilderness. Full video: youtube.com/watch?v=F2O1mp…
