This is another example of an interaction I made some time ago. In this case, the jellyfish is a layered image with a mesh and bones. The jellyfish reacts to hovering over different parts and when you click on it. Remember you still have time to participate in the @rive_app Interactive Character Animation Challenge at @contra . Here's the Rive source file and the code behind it. The Rive file is available on the @rive_app Rive Marketplace, and I'll also share the code below. Apologies in advance for the messy file structure and naming conventions. At some point I stopped naming things properly and chose chaos instead.

I have been testing some 3D icons in @rive_app using the GPU Canvas. Each icon is a .glb file that I imported as a blob file. Once the GPU Canvas was created, I exposed some properties to be able to animate each icon in Rive, and even use artboards as a texture on the mesh, as is the case with the number value on the calendar.

Here is another test using Rive's GPU Canvas. In this case, I created a 3D coin using a displacement map. The coin's view model uses two instances: one contains the texture and the other defines the displacement map. The script uses both to generate the 3D volume. Then, in the Main artboard, where the script is applied, I swap between multiple coins that share the same view model.
