We want to thank the judges for the kind words and valuable feedback. @guidorosso, glad you noticed the style consistency we put across all the work. We tried to get it as a unified entry as possible. We always appreciate your support, mate! Helmut, thanks a lot for the kind words and the Hyundai comparison comments. Such an honor to hear that, and it means a lot coming from a specialist in the field like you. John, many thanks for going deep into the filming details and storytelling process. We put a lot of effort into the presentation, and thanks for the "lawbreaker" extra points. @zoecolivas incredible hosting as usual! This project was developed within the challenge timeframe, with some extra hours put into it (after our work) each day of the challenge. A topic we've been wanting to dive into for a while, HMI experiences, so this was the perfect opportunity to bring it in finally. We also used it as a chance to experiment with a different way of presenting context, leaning more into storytelling / cinematic and grounding it in practical use cases with a fictional short. Huge thanks to the team and friends who collaborated on the entry and to the community that engaged with it. We had a great time working on it. Our entry for the @rive_app X @contra HMI Vehicle Challenge. I would say the one we enjoy the most so far! This time, we approached it differently. A single story merging multiple use cases. • Onewheel HMI, adding a new interface layer to Airwheel • Helmet HMI, extending an LS2 helmet • Car HMI, reimagined for a Hyundai IONIQ 5 concept With a small extra: a Spaceship Cruiser Navigation concept at the end. We’re improving our Chess Game: - Play against the computer with the new Human vs Bot mode. - The game now detects draws and notifies you when they occur. - Replay your games step by step or automatically at your own pace. @contra @rive_app @DSpotTeam

17h left for the @Figma #Makeathon (@Contra Challenge), and an old friend from university and I just jumped on an idea this weekend, we're trying to finish it with the clock playing against us. Honestly, it was the perfect pretext to build something together again after a long time, finally, and that alone already feels like a win, even if we didn't get to submit it on time. Wanted to extend the tribute to the Olivetti Divisumma 18, the legendary printing calculator introduced in 1973, and go a bit further by honoring its designer, Mario Bellini. Got a couple of helping hands from my team @ to make it on time. What Was Done: -Hero UI for the Mario Bellini intro, transitions, slider... -Divisumma 18 Details UI -Functional Divisumma calculator implemented (data binding to handle calculations, credit here to @YerandyAlfonso , our main Rive Engineer) -Framer Runtime. We are using all transitions and the functional Divisumma and have started integrating it with Framer using the Framer Rive Plugin, WIP (credit here to @nadinneRob, our Framer expert) -Presentation (video and sound editing: Ae, Pr, Artlist)

My entry in @rive_app @contra Challenge In collaboration with @YerandyAlfonso ,minigame. Using: Mesh on the character Rigging and Bones Data binging Every hero has a path. If you find 9 hidden caravels, you will reach their soul, and their courage and armor will level up. 💪

In the process of the Hero Bellini UI for the @contra X @Rive Challenge, one of the hardest decisions came from a simple change in the size of the main picture. That one adjustment completely changed the layout perspective. The first version feels more brutalist, with a stronger cinematic vibe and a riskier composition. The second version keeps more breathing room and scans easier, more conventional, cleaner, and closer to what we usually see. Which one would you pick? Curious to know.

So grateful to be part of the @contra winners. Didn't expect it at all with so many top entries and so much talent there, it was hard to shake the impostor syndrome 😆 Congrats to all the participants and the winners!! Big thanks to the judges, and especially to Cara for announcing it and for the kind words. More than the prize itself, it means a lot to already have a Contra Award as part of my journey.
