Lisa Murkowski has been on the Senate floor for over ten minutes. As a member of the GOP, she's doing an EXCELLENT job of advocating for the SAVE America Act… oh wait... no, she's not.
She's explaining why it's apparently TOO HARD to overcome logistical and geographical issues because of sled dogs and other things far less important than our nation's sovereignty.
The amount of effort these people put into opposing something as simple as voter ID is astronomical and only proves how afraid they are.

I defended Netanyahu earlier today, and now I’m going to defend Tucker from similar false smears.
I’ve known Tucker for close to 20 years, and the claim that he is anti-Semitic is absurd, as his own words attest.
It sure would be nice if we could go back to arguing positions on their own merits instead of using the commie tactic of smearing anyone who disagrees as racists or Nazis.

Thank you Sir. Pedophile rapists celebrated by Barack Obama for their community organizing should not have the honor of having their name on a proud American ship.
While you are at it, could you please ask the Director of the National Park Service to tell the truth about Chavez at the Cesar Chavez National Monument?
I'm sick and tired of our Founders and our nation being subject to anti-American revisionist history while the Left can never tell the truth about its depraved heroes.

I am preparing a letter asking @SecWar to remove the name of Cesar Chavez from the USNS CESAR CHAVEZ.

@megbasham Why are you looking at her phone? That’s a privacy violation.
English

Last night, after she’d gone to bed, my 16 y/o daughter receives a text from a friend. (We keep electronics in our room at night). I know my daughter isn’t gonna see it for a while and I know the answer to the girl’s dance-class-related question. So I just pick up the phone and answer it really quick as if I’m my daughter and leave it at that.
Tonight, I see her giggling over her phone. I ask what’s up. Apparently, the other girl’s mother had just wanted to get an answer to the question really quick, so she picked up HER daughter’s phone and texted mine as if she were her daughter. (basically both of us were too lazy to go through the rigmarole of explaining, “hi, this is Mrs. So-and-so, and here’s why I’m texting you on your friend’s phone…”
But the funny part was how the two girls figured this out. Because the first one was so appalled at seeing her mother‘s perfectly punctuated and capitalized sentences, that she felt she needed to come clean that it was her mom lest my daughter think she is that conscientious.
And my daughter, likewise, didn’t want her friend to think that SHE uses correct grammar when texting either.
So what I learned today is that it is apparently humiliating to be caught correctly formulating sentences via text.

@megbasham Your 16 y/o daughter is not a child anymore. Disrespecting her privacy is wrong, not to mention creepy.

@DSPetolicchio Look into bible believing Anglican and Lutheran churches. Much of the liturgy and ceremony from the Catholic church remains without praying to saints or Mary or following the Pope.
English

I've thought about becoming a Roman Catholic for about a year or so now.
Some have suggested Anglican as I'm still opposed to the papacy and the necessity to pray through saints.
I also don't buy that you have to be Catholic or Orthodox, specifically, in order to be saved.
I think the core elements of Christianity are extremely simple.
Not easy, but simple.
I've been a Christian virtually all my life, but as I've aged, I've learned that most people add extra baggage onto their faith in order to seemingly keep themselves busy.

Senate Majority Leader Thune,
I’m cognizant that I’ve been respectfully posting to you for 78 days. I’ve kept my language peaceful, cerebral, & focused on policy.
First, I wanted to thank you for bringing the SAVE America Act to the Senate floor for debate.
Second, please continue debate on the bill & do NOT invoke cloture on the SAVE America Act unless we have 60 votes.
Third, please consider continuing to work through the weekend &/or not recessing from March 30 - April 10.
If you made that decision & focused on reopening the Department of Homeland Security, you & your Republican caucus would be heroes to millions of Americans, as well as the unpaid TSA agents.
Furthermore, please know that we can be your greatest allies. We can be your bullhorn. We can be your peaceful ammunition. We can give you the support of millions of voices that desperately want election security.
The single most important piece of legislation we care about is the SAVE America Act — proof of citizenship & voter ID.
By the way, I’ll be in Rapid City & Sioux Falls this weekend — peacefully.
Look forward to hearing from you.

It’s safe to say Americans are taking their IDs out regularly and having a pretty easy go of it.
Yet when it comes to voting, Democrats talk like requiring a photo ID is some insurmountable burden.
If that were true, why would Democrats be requiring a photo ID for their voters to get into their campaign events?

@iowahawkblog Maybe a compromise to save some money:
Cesar Romero Street
Just print up a bunch of Romero stickers at Vistaprint and cover up Chavez on all the signs. Bonus: Austin could have Joker Day every April 1.
