It’s a blessing to have @demyronhaynes teaching the men of University Reformed Church at our annual retreat on the shores of Lake Michigan.

After fourteen years at @Ligonier and more than 1,000 episodes of Renewing Your Mind, I’m stepping into a new season. I’m deeply grateful for the people, the places, the conversations, and the many evidences of the Lord’s kindness along the way. It has been a privilege to serve, to learn, and to help carry forward a teaching ministry that has meant so much to me and to so many. God used @RCSproul in countless lives, and I will always be grateful that I had the opportunity to serve alongside him. I’m looking forward to a brief season of rest with my family and am hopeful for what is ahead. I would value your prayers as I seek the Lord’s direction for this next chapter. Grace and peace.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” “Jesus does not simply pronounce this beatitude; he is himself its subject. He is both the one in whom we are blessed (“blessed are the pure in heart”) and the contents of the promise (“they shall see God”).” Hans Boersma

Tucked near the back of a Bible is a short book with a crucial message. In this message from his teaching series Contending for the Faith, Jason @Helopoulos reminds us of who we are as Christians: called, beloved, and kept by God.

I love pastor Q&A night with middle school students at University Reformed Church. This year… Favorite Question: What’s the best way to tell someone more about Jesus? Most Fun: Your favorite sermon you’ve ever preached? Subject Most Asked about: Baldness
