I'm paying $110 for 400 mbps internet via @GetSpectrum and the only competing internet service is @Verizon 5G which is worse in NYC. There gotta be something we can do about this monopoly @NYCMayor

Several years ago, the Lord began correcting me concerning the Christmas holiday. Like many people, I had celebrated it for most of my life. However, as I continued praying and studying the Word of God, He began revealing things I had never seen before. The deeper I searched the Scriptures and examined the history surrounding Christmas, the stronger my conviction became. Eventually, I stopped celebrating Christmas altogether. For a season, I would still tell people, “Merry Christmas,” out of respect for the individual, even though I no longer celebrated it in my own home. As the Lord continued correcting me through His Word, He began connecting Scripture in ways I had never understood before. One question continued to stand out: Where in the Bible did God give anyone the authority to establish the date of Jesus Christ’s birth? Where did Jesus command His disciples to commemorate His nativity with an annual feast? Where did the apostles instruct the churches to celebrate His birth each year by exchanging gifts? As I searched the Scriptures, I could not find that authority anywhere. Whenever God establishes an appointed time, He makes it known. Throughout Scripture, He clearly appointed His feasts and instructed His people how they were to observe them. Jesus also gave His disciples a memorial, but it was not His birth. He said, “Do this in remembrance of Me,” speaking of His sacrifice. The apostles faithfully taught believers to remember His death until He comes. They never established an annual celebration of His birth. As my study continued, I realized I had to ask myself a difficult question: Am I following the commandments of God, or am I following traditions that developed outside of Scripture? That question changed everything. Jesus warned: “In vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” — Matthew 15:9 I encourage everyone to do what the Bereans did in Acts 17:11: search the Scriptures diligently and test everything against the Word of God. Don’t take my word for it. Open your Bible, pray, and ask the Lord to guide you into all truth through His Holy Spirit. Our hope has never been found in a holiday, a tradition, or the customs of men. Our hope is found in Jesus Christ alone—the Alpha and the Omega, who was, and is, and is to come.
