The Reason for the Media Noise
There’s a reason the clash between the legacy press and the Pentagon feels seismic right now.
The military isn’t just an institution, it’s been the country’s moral compass. Whoever guides it, guides the nation’s thinking. Politicians have always known that. Truman used that noble power when he desegregated the armed forces.
But in recent years, the same mechanism was used for something else. Instead of leading the nation toward unity and strength, the military was used as a cultural billboard. Ideology crept in where excellence used to live. Propaganda replaced purpose.
The media cheered it on. They needed the uniform to sanctify their narratives so their social experiments could look righteous.
Now that the fog is lifting, they’re panicking. Because when the military starts waking up, it doesn’t just correct itself, it corrects the entire country.
That’s why the noise is so damn loud. They know the most trusted institution in America is remembering what it was built to do: defend the nation, not divide it.
